Sad to think that hundreds of green folders, bad fluorescent light, and an uncomfortable grey chair are waiting for me tomorrow morning. Long weekends make work all the more repulsive.
For those of you looking for a new distraction - perhaps while you're sitting in front of the fire, avoiding an overcast afternoon and if you didn't read it in high school.... The Picture of Dorian Gray is a book you should really check out. Vice and virtue - the elegant and the perverse.... Hard to imagine a book written so long ago could ring so true today. If the gothic doesn't strike your fancy, I can't help but also recommend Brain Wave. Now out of print, this is a great story about what happens when an IQ of 500 becomes commonplace. Gotta love that 1950s sci-fi.
