Construction continues on our little room rebuilding project due to the storms of a few weeks ago. Work is back to a frenetic pace, so I really value my free time, and I find myself sometimes craving opportunities to party, and searching for cool people to party with. Not a big deal...I know, everything in moderation.
A part itme job I have is going out of business after 10 years with them...it started to be like family and feeling like home. One simply has to remember that, in this economy, nothing and no one is safe, At the farewell dinner last night at the Marietta Fish Market, I ate like a pig...but it isn't my fault. The portions are huge.
Dating is going well with my new friend. I think she's really into me, but I always have this feeling like I am on probation...that has to stop, I guess. We ae nevertheless, having a lot of fun, getting closer, and enjoying each other's company. Saw a movie yesterday....saw in the back row and we had a hard time keeping our hands off each other...the simple pleasures should not be overlooked.
Off the Palo Alto next week to visit a friend at Stanford....I am already looking forward to airport security.
