It was a long weekend. There was some storm-related water damage to my house last week. Foundation work will have to be done, and one of the inside bedrooms had it's carpet water soaked and destroyed. We spent Saturday ripping it up and tearing it out. Wet carpet is soooooo heavy, but some friends came over, my brothers helped, It got done...now on with the recovery process. It will take awhile and some dollars. How do people who live in flood plains recover and recover again?? God bless us, every one.
Well, I went to a step show this weekend here in Atlanta. It was good, but not great, but my date, of wom you may have read a little, was wonderful....we had a near perfect evening. She wore one of the outfits I bought her for her birthday, she was attentive and affectionate...a partner in every way. I can get use to this....
