~ Today I am utterly exhausted. Such a draining week, I could curl up and sleep for 48 hours straight.
~ Our lease has run out, which means that we can move out at any time with no notice! Yay! It also means the property managers can kick us out at any time with no notice. So, tomorrow we flathunt.
~ Should I grow my hair?
~ It's almost boots weather. I'm so excited. It's been years since I've had a really good pair of boots.
~ I'm trying to decide whether it's better to have high expectations of people and be let down, or have low expectations of them, which seems pretty miserable really. And where in that range do I fit in? In the past I have certainly had low expectations of people, but still somehow I end up disappointed anyway.
~ I'm thinking too much right now, which gets me tangled up. Gonna have a glass of wine or ten and go watch some bands and shake my groove thing. Sure to make me feel better, right? Right?

How you been, girl? I've not heard much from you in ages!
Yeah, Cloud 9 is where I was working....I have an open invitation to come back whenever I want to. And I do want to at some point. I would actually love to live in Welly longer term. But right now I'm trying to jumpstart my career writing musicals, and, much as I hate to be here, that requires me to be in the states. So I probably won't get to move back for another 5 years at least--whenever I feel like I can write from wherever and still have my shows considered.
You ever coming to the states? You could always crash at my place in chicago....that is, once I move into a new less-stinky flat.
