This is gonna be a very long week. I said I'd work Saturday the eve of Christmas, and we are gonna be short 2 therapists as of Wed. Plus my manager said he is gonna send 3 people to a modalities class(which is good) on Friday.So friday 2+3 = 5. That leaves 3 people to do the work of 8, and our census is supposed to jump. It will, I spent 5 years in a hospital and Doc's like to d/c their pts so they have less to patients to come in and see on the holidays. So, it will be 3 therapists doing the work of 10, somehow. Great a day of shitty tx for the patients/residents. Well at least I should end up with like 70 hours this week. I guess it'll pay for the Jamaica/or PuntaCana trip.

Feel you on wokring for the holidays, though I think your position is more stressful than mine with the limited staff, though I work for discovery channel retails.. it's been a mad house.
