On Friday night we went to A Christmas Carol at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts. I was really looking forward to it, but low and behold, it sucked! They didn't use any original music. The props left something to be desired (think Kmart comforter on Scrooges bed). And they changed or left out most of the story. So, I did what any unsatisfied theatergoer would do in my situation. I went to the strip club. Boobies are fun! This was a different strip club than anywhere I've been before. Let's just say, they don't seem to have any no touching rules...
On Saturday, we decided to go to Key West. We only made it to Key Largo, though. The keys are further than it seems. And we didn't know we could take the turnpike. Lesson learned, consult a map. We ate at Chillie Willies in Islemorada and stopped at Shell World and bought kitchy Xmas presents for everyone.
Sunday Scott took Dexter back to the groomer because they didn't do a good job on his head and mush. They were doing Santa pix at Petsmart. I watched it while I was waiting for Scott and Dexter. It was cute. That guy had the worst job ever. Then I dropped Scott off at the man groomer (Supercuts) and went to Blockbuster and Target. While i was in Target, Scott texted me, "You're gonna be pissed". The old guy at Supercuts accidentally shaved his head!!!! Scott couldn't do anything...it was too late! So, Scott's not happy being temp bald, but his hair grows fast. He said he's never going back there again.
Last night while Scott worked on his drawings, I did wedding stuff online. I finally found our favors. Personalized shot glasses. It's perfect since both of us collect shot glasses and I ask everyone i know to get me shot glasses from wherever they go.
Oh yeah! I almost forgot. I go the invitations last night too, from Target! Only $75 and they're exactly what I wanted. I was going to spend $400 online, so this is huge! So, now our colors are pink and brown. Scott was so cute last night. He asked me if that is going to be our colors, can him and the guys please wear brown vests and not pink vests. I said of course.
In other news, this weekend we both started a Alli (Orlistat). It blocks fat absorption (but can give you leaky butt if you eat too much fat). We are also doing meal replacements with Powerbars or Slimfast. We are also going to go to the gym regularly. I have got to leave some of this fat ass behind as i am not putting it into a wedding dress as is.
The plan for this week is to wrap presents and fill out X-mas cards.
