I want to thank everyone for their wonderful entries. I appreciate them very much! It's nice to know that even out here in the boonies, people care about what you think and who you are.

So what's new........ well, the show comes together. However, my spinal injury has decided to flare a little. That isn't really suprising because I've been working my body hard and then today the temperature dipped and I got a chill. I've got a big sweater on a scarf wrapped around my neck. Everyone else is in short-sleeves and must think I'm wacked. Hahahaha......it's like Nureyev and his toque. Heat! Heat! And more heat! I took some advil to avoid the headaches and nauseau I get from it. puke

I slept an unbelievable amount this weekend. Naps and early to bed....even still, I can feel the fatigue.

We went out for supper with my papa for father's day. Feeding Sisu is always a bonus. I gave my dad two dvd's with B-movie Japanese sci-fi. So good! I grew up with Bruce Lee movies and love the sequencing and choreography of fight scenes. My dad and I laughed over the close-ups of their faces and crazy eyeball shots. LOL.
My step-dad is going down to the dealership tomorrow to see if my lovely $600 part is covered by the warranty. If not, I'm trading in this mo-fo piece of crap. I'm not attached enough to this material item to pay that crap. My bike, yes, my car, no. Funny hey?

THE COUNTDOWN IS ON.....2 DAYS UNTIL TECH REHEARSAL. How crazy is that?? I think I will see if I can wrangle up a backrub out of my friend A---.

k......I just had a nice argument with my kid (who is really late btw) over whether it's bathtime or not. He needs summer holidays. So do I!

Here are a couple pics.........

My toenails for Timm who wanted to know what colour they were.....

and the lovely grass stain that was the bane of my existance. My mom said not to sweat the small stuff but I used to toothpaste instead. Came out like a charm. biggrin

Listening experience:

Matthew Dear - Very minimalist, very funky, very fun. It's like a cross between old skool electronic with hip hop made by your neighbour's kid. biggrin

Ok, I've got the TV on which is a rare occurence unless the dood has a movie on. I'm not up on current tv.....Love or Money is on; a reality show where a guy picks his "one" out of 16. Ok BARF. He goes to the door and these 5 women are standing there waiting to be picked for a date. Ok, excuse me but if I have to be picked out of five women, guy you need a boot to the head. What an ego trip for this guy?! Well, apparently they get paid or something. I'm not sure. Regardless, I would rather be single than be lined up and chosen like a piece of grade A beef, paid or not. What a weird world.

Look at you writing a book...and with pictures to boot. You rock.

Our internet writer has been gone for two weeks so I've been doing my job and his for the whole time. Wears thin, though I think you're in quite a similar predicament right now.

We'll have to get hold of Mr. Miagi to come over and heal that back up smile before the show.

Get to hang out with my little dood tomorrow at King's Dominion Amusement Park (right outside of Richmond, VA). I remember going there with my brothers and friends while growing up, so I'm pumped to be taking Chase.

Hopefully we'll talk soon. love

"Reality" shows are such a load....
They are often extras and crazy movie star wannabes to begin with which explains why all these "real" people" look like barbie and ken dolls.
It also explains why they are so wild and zany on television. They are comfortable with the camera and are trying to be noticed as the next big thing.
I like the reality show they had on Public television. They got two couples to live a year as pioneers in the west. It was awesome and very touching. It made me want to quite shaving my armpits and build a log cabin.
Someday!
