Ok Mere feels better today. Got the meeting out of the way.....these committee meetings really stress me out and really, they shouldn't. However, my one committee leader is a huge pain in my ass. She's a control freak and doesn't understand the arts. God help me. It was brought up today that I should have two liason members to deal with all the bullshit that I've been dealing with. WOOHOOOOOO!!!! FUCKING BONANZA! That would rock my world. On the other hand, dealing with some of the bullshit has definitely been a learning process (ie. old school male techies who get freaked out by young women being interested in technology and ones who dance no less. How's that for freaky??) I've learned alot but some help/community liason schmoozing would be awesome. I'm going to push for that for sure. A liason would also mean I would have someone besides myself who would understand what I am dealing with. The committee leader has being doing it up to now and we clash repeatedly. She's not a leader, she's a controller and I hate being controlled. She feels she needs to supervise me and I don't need to be supervised. This position is very difficult to supervise because I am working in and out of so many places and situations. It makes me feel like she can't trust me. I hate that because I often work above and beyond the call of duty.

Anyway, that aside, my friend came over and we ordered Chinese food which I proceeded to eat two enormous platefulls of while the little dood was at a birthday party. (insert running around to get b-day presents and all that jazz). She's in theatre and we talked shop. Awesome to have someone who understands the world of performing arts to shoot the shit with in RL.

My mom phoned and she felt I was being abrupt with her. Hell, on the phone, right now I'm abrupt with everyone. She just feels so needy right now and I need her to hang in there a little longer for me until the show is done. I think things are going badly with her husband. He's twenty yrs her senior and isn't doing well. All right.....I'll phone her back........

I tickled the dood before bed and he is THE best to tickle. He's really ticklish and his laugh is contagious. Such a blast.

I think I will crawl into the tub, paint the toe nails, phone my mom and then do some tweaking of digital projections.......

K ...putting around in one of my server spaces and found some art..... did this paticular one in a set about the Wizard of Oz. Would like to do a dance piece based on it at some point......I have so much stuff... I have whole stories in digital art. Need to get that stuff up on my site.....
