Today was a mildly productive day and I feel pretty guilty about that. However, I try to balance it out by telling myself that I worked like a bat out of hell last wk and next wk is going to be really nuts too...so maybe it balances out.
Organizing your own schedule is wonderful and agonizing. I'm still trying to find the ideal way of making a job that really isn't run by a box-like time frame to fit in one. I'm sure I've pissed off a few people but it is a gongshow. I'm still maneouvering......
the trick is I have to stop seeing my choreography as non-work and my teaching as work. They are both equally as valid.
I had the most intense chat tonight.....

Cryogenic Studios-oh love this cd....i did a dance piece to one of the tracks of this cd when i lived in CA. I'm going to rework it to fit in my performance. I can't get it out of my head. It needs to be done! WOOT!

i'm trying hard to concentrate and get myself on the decks in my home studio, do a new mix, which i normally produce every month.. i also got a new released album from my friends pastaboys, with a great tune sang by wunmi, the dancer from soul II soul.. she has a great smooth voice, and she goes "i will play my game, i will do my dance, i will be myself.. live your life!.." all 4 you!
