Happy New Year. I went to a friends house downtown and watched the fireworks over the port of Anchorage from the bluff while drinking warm eggnog and eating homemade banana bread. Then back to Ron's house to chat and sip some blueberry liquer from Italy or Norway. But then I spent midnight home alone thinking where I could have been. 
It would have been nice to share an eggnog with Sophi (no rum for her of course).
