I'm lousy at updating. *shrug*

It's been a whirlwind as usual. The website is up and I need to tweak some things and figure out a few more things....etc etc.

So the news is consuming me once more.
I am praying for those who lost their lives or are hurt in yesterday's attack on Dawson college. It seems every year now there is some bizarre attack by a solo gunman on random innocent people. Jack Layton, our federal Liberal leader, had the audacity to make comments about beefing up the National Gun Registry and the fight on illegal weapons. You can fight all the illegal weapons deals you want but if an individual is sad, hurt and bullied inside, he'll find a way to strike out even if there are no guns left on the planet. There will still be a senseless act of violence.
How about supporting and beefing up anti-bullying programs in schools, how about counselling and support groups for children and youth? You could take something like the Children's Help Phone and change it into a federal program instead of a charitable program that has to struggle for its money. Beef up their program so they can do outreach, workshops and special programs....

Funding counsellors in schools, REAL counsellors not these bullshit student counselling groups or crackpot career cousellors who try to do the real thing.
