My firefighting physical ability test is this Friday. And the panel interview is next Thursday. I'm confident I'll do quite well, but nervous because it means so much! 
Work is going well. I'll be sad to leave Rocket whenever I start academy with firefighting.
I'm going to the Apple Festival this weekend. Should be awesome. Autumn has always been my favorite season, and I have always loved apples and pears and all the glorious products they produce. But I have a new appreciation for apples after reading Botany of Desire by Michael Pollan.
