I be busy. I'm training for a marathon coming up Nov 11. It's a huge commitment. I ran 18 miles for the first time yesterday. That's almost 3 hours just running. Though I wasn't able to use it yesterday, thank god I just got a new Nano to keep me company on my runs. I can multi-task and study my Japanese. That's important you see, because I'm also taking a Japanese proficiency exam Dec 2. I'm not as good about dedicating time to that pursuit as I am the running, but I still try to study for an hour every day.

This week was also term end finals at school. My students did not do well at all on my listening test. I feel bad because the tape we made was too fast for them. But at the same time, many never pay attention in class anyway, so their failing is just a reflection of their lack of effort.

Tons of wonderful things happening in Japan right now. Autumn, my favorite season by far, is just around the corner. I can't wait!

I also can't wait for my new Mac to come! It means I don't have to have all these continuing computer problems.
