So much for high hopes of maintaining an an online persona here. I'm busy enough with my real world commitments. Note that does not constitute a complaint. My offline world is wonderful:Last weekend I planted rice in the mountains. This weekend I'm making yet another traditional paper doll. Next weekend I'm bartending another party. The weekend after that I'm going on a private fishing cruise and eating lots of octopus. I love Japan. (^_^)
I made snickerdoodles again tonight. The recipe needs some tweaking. I've added extra flour both times I've made them since they were so soft. And who still uses cream of tartar?! Here's a guideline for substitution. But maybe cream of tartar snickerdoodles taste better... You can taste the baking powder substitute.
In other news, I have tons of whiskey. I've drunk each of them, but haven't tasted any of them/haven't taken notes. I need a weekend to myself. And I need to utilize my time during the day better. Ah prioritization.
