Today's Spooky Movie Blog is about the movie Clown from 2014.
You can find this movie on Netflix.... though honestly I'm not entirely sure you want to unless you love clown movies or you just have a goal like me, to watch a horror movie every day this month. I'm not going to add My usual amount of movie pictures to this post because I know so many people have serious fears of clowns.
1.Clown is about a dad who finds an abandoned clown costume in a trunk and does the obvious thing- put it on. Everything goes horribly wrong when the costume refuses to come off and the dad learns the costume is something more sinister than just a costume... it's a demon.
2. I actually really liked the evolution of the clown suit through the movie. And the ever changing face of the clown. Added something to the fairly mundane movie.
3. I'd easily rate this movie 20/80
I honestly disliked about 80% of it or just found 80% of it laughable with shitty acting. I think they had a small budget but a small budget doesn't have to mean bad acting. But there was about 20% of the time where it went it left my mouth hanging open or I was impressed. Not the worst movie I've seen. I don't regret watching it. But I expected so much more from it.
