And so begins my daily routine of searching employment websites and newspapers.
With the job climate out there, I'm a bit nervous, but I'm trying to remain optimistic. I had to finally give up on my business. My business partner turned out to be delusional. The focus of the venture changed and I just couldn't support the new focus. I.e. there was no focus, and really no effort outside myself. sigh.
So I'm back out there, after almost a year, doin' my chemist thing. I'm relieved and confused. On the one had I have a clean slate to start over again, but on the other I no longer know what I want. All of my energy has been sapped, used for the business. Now that there is no business, the energy is gone and I just look straight ahead wondering where the new road will lead.
One good thing is that I have all my lovely friends with me along this ride. Buckle up.
