When I got to work I started off in guest service. I like it so much better there than cashiering. But, once 4 pm hit, 4 cashiers went home, and I was stuck back on lanes.
On lunch, the ONLY good thing of the day happened. I stopped at Game Stop to trade in 2 games and pay off Fall Out 3. Dude asked if I was going to come back for the midnight release, and I told him I was still debating, since I got off at 10:15. But did I really want to wait around 2 hours in the cold after working 8? No. Did I want to come back tomorrow on my day off? Also no. So sweetie that he was, he pulled a no-no and gave me a copy right then.
He did forget to give me the soundtrack though. Game Stop always seems to be good at forgetting to give me pre-order stuff. heh. I called him and he put it away for me to pick up Wednesday.

So, more events. At work around 8:40 pm, my register shorts out and shocks me. The shock went through 2 fingers and up my arm. At first I though the clothes I was ringing up just shocked me...until my arm went kinda tingly numb. Also the register stopped working. We had to call the ambulance to make sure I was ok. They came with the sirens on and everything. I was so embarrassed. I was the talk of the store. hehe. They checked my heart rate and blood pressure, both of which were perfect. I told them I didn't need to go to the hospital and that was that. I guess it wasn't so bad to sit in the office on my ass for an hour and get paid for it.
Then again, my arm is tingly-numb.
I told my boss, she'd have to forgive me, but I wasn't cleaning that register at close. I didn't really want to spray a liquid on it after it already attacked me once. She laughed but I dunno. I'm kinda scarred of Lane 10 now.


*Edit* My arm is sore as fuck today!
