The explanation for the last post is simple: yesterday sucked.

We are ridiculously understaffed at work (in the kitchen) and therefore bill times for inside bills have gone up to almost an hour. (That's dumb) And therefore we servers have to deal with a whole bunch of shit from the customers because they are waiting around for food that gets to them late. And not just the customers in the store we get to answer the phones so people kilometres away can yell at us too! Yippee!!

I had two tables walk out on me yesterday due to the extravagantly long bill times
*sigh* It sucked. I wanted to die by the end of the day. Correction: I wanted to die long before, but I only COULD by then end of it.
Oh! And to top it all off, I worked a 9.5 hour shift yesterday. AND it was a split shift! So I was there from 11am to 11pm with a shitty 2.5 hours to kill in the middle

But! Tonight I get to go to O'Hanlon's and drink it up with a friend from way back. She's heading back to Calgary for school, so this is her final hurrah in the city. (For now at least)
