Well SG. its been for bleedin ever since I have been here.
Lots been going on, but sadly no scandle to report.
I went to NYC for a weekend with my dad and his wife... I like it there. and I realy like Brooklyn! I think I would like to get a publishing job out there... but hopefully work from here and then get flown in to the city every so often. (yeah I know, dreaming!)
My dad and his wife also stayed here for a bit and helped with the house. We stripped and refinished all my lawn furniture... it looks really nice!
I still need to repair the front step.. in a bad way.
My dad, his wife, and my Aunt Mary pulled together and bought me a new lawn mower. It rocks. self propelled, mulching, and with a bag. On the bad note, my dad, tested it out on my lawn and threw all the clippings in my garbage bin. EVEN after he was told NOT to. ugh. So, I had to go out there with a shovel and try to get most of it out as it is stricly forbidden by the state todump lawn trimmings in the garbage. thanks dad.
Other than that, technology has not been my friend. My palm pilot went kaput just before I headed to NYC, and when I got back, my lap top also went kaput. This has put a mild damper on my job search as I can not access all the info I need as it is on my lap top. grrrr.... I hope to get all the info off it soon, as the hard drive is ok. lucky me.
anyway... I have been getting out on my bike almost daily. twice yesterday.
life is fair to midlin right now. it has it bumps, but don't we all.
