How is everything coming along with the shelter?
I've got two cats that we've nicknamed Tubs and Goose. I finally got around to giving Goose a bath, and now Tubs is hissing whenever Goose walks into the room. Do you know why tubs would do this? I would think that it would just be that Gose smells a lot different now, but after maybe 10 years or so, I'd think that smell wouldn't be the only way that Tubs would recognize her sister. Is there anything that I can do to make Tubs and Goose get along again?
I hope everything works out with the shelter.

I got 4 cats in to foster homes yesterday!!!
And one cat got adopted today!!

I don't eat turkey, but my parents brother and boyfriend do, there was turkey none the less. Oh well. I work at a grocery store though, and seeing how many turkeys sell....it is like seasonal turkey holocaust, i tell you. It leaves me disturbed. But, then again, i am a veggie wussy.

Oh no. Now I realize why it feels like this country will go into a depression. Not the economic kind. But the social injustice kind. I don't even want to imagine another 4 years. We barely made it by the past 4. There were a lot more things to worry about than higher income tax that people should have thought about when voting. God damnit.

I wish I could be upset, but I knew this was comming. I guess I just wash my hands of it. I mean how much can you keep fighting (or whatever you want to call it) and see this shit everyday. Maybe I'm just jaded, but I feel that the American public (ok ok 50 something percent of the American public) dug it's own grave, now they will have to lie in it.

it's good to hear that the board at the shelter is worried about the mail that was sent, that means they might actually do something right?
sorry that you had to quit you job, but you did your best and it's not worth working for a shelter that does'nt seem to care about the animals, you'll find something soon, i'm sure of it
