So, found out this week that I'm not getting a promotion at work.
I was supposed to replace someone else that was being promoted also, but they decided to give someone else his job, and therefore screw me out of my advancement.
Not such a big deal, I guess... not sure if I want to advance in this company anyway... it'd probably just be a pain in my ass.

Tuesday really sucked. I worked all night (and we're short staffed and way overworked), slept for a couple of hours, worked until noon, slept for an hour, went to jazz rehersal and then straight back to work all night long (again short staffed and putting up with way too much bullshit). Shit, when I went to bed on Wednesday morning, I slept like the dead. Didn't wake up until around noon when my new "alarm clock" aroused me... sometimes it's not too bad to wake up...

Looking forward to thursday... going to the doctor in the morning, lunch in the afternoon, then jazz rehersal, and back to work... can't wait for the fucking weekend.
