I'm getting ready to head off to Atlanta in a few minutes. Have to buy a vocal effects processor to use at our concert next week. I just dread the traffic when I get down there.

I'm wanting to get my septum pierced, but I'm worried that my employer may not take kindly to it... Does anyone know how I may be able to get it done and be able to hide it when I work? I'm thinking of some kind of retainer, but I don't know where I could get one. The local piercer that I normally use doesn't have them...

In other news:

The ex I wrote about before is starting to leave a bad taste in my mouth... I thought we had an understanding about how I have very little time to spend with her between my job, my band, and my students. But that doesn't seem to be the case. She called me crying and complaining about not spending any time with me and demanded that I set a day aside for her. I just don't need that right now, especially with all the responsibility I have right now...

And on the other side of the fence is my trombone player... she's not pushy, she doesn't complain about how I spend my time, she is very pleasant... maybe she's the one I should focus on.
