Hey, this is my first entry into my journal, so I'm just going to tell a little about what's going on in my life right now...

I'm in a Ska/Reggae/Rock band called SKAM and I've started devoting most of my time to my band and my music. I write or transcribe all of our music, play mellophone (very odd for a ska band, I know), and manage the band. I also give private instruction to several high school and college students in the area when I'm not working as a manager at a local transportation corporation.

My band has a gig opening for Soul Crush on Cinco de Mayo in Knoxville, TN in a couple of weeks... trying out a new guitarist and T-bone player. Wish us luck!

In my more personal life, I have some really weird shit going on... an ex of mine dropped out of the sky recently and I'm really into her, but there are some really bad interpersonal undertones in the relationship... not to mention I'm very interested in a trombone player I met several months ago... but I guess I'll just see how shit works out. Don't have time to nurture or baby anyone right now since I have so much responsibility with the band right now. If anyone is going to get my attention, it's going to be someone that requires very little attention...
