Oy the pain!!
I'm so sick!! I was up all night last night with a fever. I kept fading between nightmarish sleep and delusional awakenings. Having a fever is like being on a bad acid trip. My flesh was on fire. My muscles felt like cement. I was sweating so much, I had to change clothes several times. I kept thinking Big Brother was out to get me and my son. I had to leave the room to protect my son from the prying eyes that were fixed on me.
Luckily, I learned some time ago that having a fever that isn't dangerously high is a good thing because it burns out whatever is infecting your system, so I rode it out. (I couldn't take any medicine last night anyway, I was way too nauseous and feared vomiting anything I put into my system)
Today I'm still sweaty, but not feverish and insane (well, I am really crabby). I wish I didn't have to watch my son this weekend, but his mom can't take him at all. So, on top of being achey and crabby, I'm yelling at my boy for everything he's doing. He needs to go run and play and I need to clean my house and lay down.
Ugh... I feel like shit.
