Video Game Review: Hitman 2
It's been a while since I posted a review, and I just bought this game. So what the fuck?
This is one of the most intriguing games I've ever come across. The whole concept of freedom in how to complete your missions is just delectably good play concept. Each mission, you are given a series of assignments (and a hefty arsenal of weapons to assist) and are plopped into the terrain with minimal information. You just have to be inventive and creative with how you comlete your missions. The AI is brilliant and clever, and you have to really jump through hoops to stay alive. The controls are a little complex, as most EIDOS games go, but once you spend a few hours getting used to them, it's a snap. I won't give a rating number, but I will say that out of the box, I played it 'till 2:30am, and proceeded to step back to the prior mission for a better score as soon as I woke up the next day. I haven't been that obsessed about a video game in at least five years.
