To celebrate Dejah's birthday last night, a bunch of us SGAZ folks gathered at Sushi 101 for dinner. With the obvious exception of Dejah, it was my first time meeting any of them, so it was nice to be able to put faces to the names of the folks I've been corresponding with over the past few months.

After dinner, we rounded everyone up and headed off to Christie's Cabaret - after all, what better way to complement raw fish than with loud music and beautiful naked girls? I had a couple of drinks and chatted with everyone while Dejah and Drusylla got some ridiculously hot lap dances, then bid goodbye to the birthday girl and headed home.

Drusylla, Bitten, Frankus, DarkRam, doolittle, TheDarkness, norritt, and more - everyone seemed just as pleasant in person as they've been on the forums, and the combination of delicious food and new friends made for a really good experience, and an excellent introduction to the rest of the folks from SGAZ. Looking forward to further adventures, particularly where sushi is involved.

Didn't get nearly enough sleep, though, so I've been sluggish and grumpy all day today. I might go out and have margaritas with Kate and Dave tonight, even though I should be resting and getting some stuff done around the house. We've got a midnight release tomorrow night for "Star Wars: The Force Unleashed," followed by an opening shift on Tuesday and a visit from my District Manager.

Yippee.
