"the car runs out of gears before it runs out of rev's" - yeah, I'd much rather that than a car with a theoretical 150mph limit that's unreachable unless you're in the Australian fucking Outback.

I used to have a Focus that ran out of steam at 110, but it pulled like a rocket to get there. Far more realistic to have a car that sprints like fuck to a 'safe' 100. My experience suggests that's characteristic of modern turbodiesels.

Browsing on eBay revealed a 'guaranteed' 20bhp mod for my CFH at the bargain price of 2.99. Had to get it.
Sounds like an electronic trick-out for the air mass sensor to think it's warmer, less dense air and hose in more fuel.
