yeah, nutsack.
I put a new protest set up on SB.

Why bother trying to be sexy?
Your artificial modifications add temporary value.
So what?

I'm hoping that my set has a defiantly asexual aura.
We'll see.

Natasha Vita-More huh? Where are you going to school?

I met both her and Max More this summer at Transvision. They're incredibly interesting people but sometimes I think they're too caught up in their dreams of living forever to stop and see the bigger picture...

I sent you a friend request. I was intrigued by your set . I wondered why you looked sad.

I've seriously coughed up a lung and half in this past week. I sure hope the doctor has something for me on Tuesday.

In great news:
I finally figured out a way to manipulate Cubase SX to work with the EWQLSO so that dropouts do not occur when rendering to audio. It still limits the number of tracks pretty bad, but at least I can...

What can we do about our mothers?

My mom wrote me today, saying simply: "I feel stuck."

She doesn't ever say things like that. While it's been the case since 1995, and I've wished there was something I could do (knowing that money is the only thing that would help her, and her knowing that I wouldn't spend my life pursuing money).

And in turn...

If you'd done the Business thing for your mother's sake, would you now resent her for it? I don't know you, I can't answer. But it'd be a risk for me.
Asking your last question is enough to convince me you're not being selfish, if that's worth anything. Don't beat yourself up.

(unrelated to previous serious post, with which i sympathize...)

yes, you are correct.

9 days now with this flu.
Fairly certain I have the bronchitis. Not looking forward to anti-biotics. Having only ever taken them once, and knowing that doctors assume we all take them alot, I fear a dosage that is too high, and just causes me to puke all over the place.

I'd like to go for a drive sometimes.
I've been in these 10 square meters...

I must go to bed now.
It seems the country will be a Republican one again. I think it's damn stupid that they call themselves "Republicans"
Imperialists in a world of diminishing returns.

I will now seek out government work without exception upon the finishing of my degree here. If you can't beat them, maybe you can get inside and infect them like some silent...

What is it with some of these SG and their obscure prose about bones and blood and cigarettes?
I suppose some people like to keep an air of mystery about them. It helps them to feel more dangerous, more precious, or more alive.
But it's so boring, untrusting and surely a bit lonely.

What we need is a Trust Movement.
It's ok to say "today...

you interested in taking over the futurism group?

Yeah, most of the groups I'm in are pretty dead... I guess I tend to attract other lurkers. ;] If you want to spur the group back to life, feel free to post random articles/thoughts/etc there...

Spending the entire weekend in front of the computer screen is quite an experience.
The analog world becomes temporarily pixelated.
The weekend was spent here in this room of brown carpet and white walls because I'm in Grad school. And when one is in Grad school, one cannot hope to do much else.

I tried to break for the SG Groups and Boards a few...

hey thanks for adding me.

If I saw a unicorn I wouldn't tell anyone about it because they'd be skeptical and wondering what kind of nut job I'd have to be to imagine seeing unicorns...

You know, Clear Lake City, Texas isn't the happeningest place in the world, and Texans have this thing where they never talk to you about anything.

Thus, like an old habit, I return to the place where my bleeding liberal heart can have it's fill.
