I had a dream last night about ...pussy.

In itself that is strange enough. but stranger was the fact that my whole dream played like this architecture documentary. Nameless host was talking to guests about different curves in buildings and how those curves turn him on. Tom Hanks was in it, too.
Weird, man.

Goddamnit.
Why is it that I am so talented, morally consistent and physically awe-inspiring?
I'll never find a partner this way.

...Not that I'm looking, of course. That would be below me.

In regular news:
The interview went horribly wrong. They'd already picked someone else by the time I got there.
Back to looking for data entry jobs for a bit.

My friend Dan just...

Have you heard the song Dropout Boogie by Beefheart? If I were in your situation (or my situation, or any situation) I'd enjoy listening to it.

I like the SB icon you added to the set. nice. smile

I hate getting inspired sometimes.
I do love my friend here, who challenges me and tells me that I'm her last hope. That I'm the only friend she has that still spends so much time talking about a better world.
It's just that we can never decide on what to do about it.

We admit that humans are not designed to think long-term, and even...

I had a similar argument with my father a while ago, and we concluded that the only approach with any sort of hope of working was a religion.

I ate far too many beans today. Black beans, pinto beans, red beans.
Ugh.
Today David admires wide open spaces.

David still has writer's block, so is doing logical tasks instead. Things are fairly happy. David kind of has a crush on this guy who totally won't return it. Oh well.
David also bleached his hair and was called Andy Warhol.
I disagree.

Not sure...

I'm seriously going to cry for all the lonely and decent people in this little city.
I've just spent an hour reading through all the personals on the portland craigslist.

Of course there are more guys looking for girls than girls looking for girls, but the majority of guys looking for girls seemed really sweet and sane. Not so much in the girls looking for...

I'm pretty sure antibiotics have wiped out a good deal of my natural defenses. I took them daily from ages 3 to 6 and now it takes me fucking forever to get over infections. Once a doctor even sat me down to talk about AIDS because there was no explanation for my shitty immune system. Fun!

Learning to deal.
Becoming one of those people that has to plan their evenings is a little frightening and a little sad, but it's better than becoming completely unproductive.

My good friend finally got into the electrician's union today, and good happenings in her life generally are a precursor to good happenings in mine. So I'm hopeful.

My new health obsession is Sudden Cardiac Death....

Don't try to be a hero... You'll burn yourself out... Get up, take breaks, take your lunch hour.

Unless they chain you to your cubicle like they do at my job.

Hi again.
I spent the entire week trying to adjust to getting up before the sun would rise.
I haven't done that in...9 years. I'm also a much more busy person than I was at 17, so when I get home from work, I work on things, and when it came time to sleep, I just couldn't.
So now I'm sick. At least I'll have...

Just make sure you see daylight during the day. There's nothing worse than getting to work while it's dark only to leave when it's dark.

The weekend wasn't nearly as busy as I expected it to be.
Woke myself up at 8 this morning so that I could be slightly sleepy by midnight.
In my free time I did two more remakes. This is it for remakes for a while. I need to concentrate on my own content again. My orchestral stuff is coming along well, but it won't render...

I was expecting to be flattered that you spent the time fulfilling my request...and that's how it worked out. I'm easy like that.

But if you don't mind spending even more time, do it "seriously"! It is a great song, isn't it? Yes, yes it is.

What, too busy with your real life to redo the song? Whatever...

Ok.

Mission accomplished.

Wondered why I wasn't receving any job calls, so today at about 2pm I check my phone. It hasn't been on for three days. This is what happens when you use your phone strictly for business and a once-per-week call to mother.

I had been offered two jobs in that time, but I had to go do a confirmation interview for one...

I didn't mean to be all "dance, monkey, DANCE!" about it, but I am very glad that you're doing the song. I can't wait to hear it...and I don't really have any talents that would allow me to produce something for you in return, but I would if I could!
