Solicited the 5 most popular temp agencies in Portland today. Got the usual "things are kinda slow, but if something comes up, we'll give you a call." That is about what I expected.
Stopped by Veganopolis, and it was great. Well, my stomach is bothering me and I'm dizzy now, but the place is really clean, so I don't think it's fault of the food.
I really did have more to say, but I've become confused. Something about coffee, I think.
I want to extend my friendship to people here in Portland, but people are so reluctant, untrusting, suspicious. That's really what the problem was yesterday. I don't like to feel like the dumb one because I'm offering to be there for someone I don't know well. I'm not trying to take advantage of anything. I don't care about that stuff. Trust me.
Ah, the Leonard Cohen remake. It should put you to sleep. After monitoring it in headphones I found that I set the noise gate high on the mic. For such a quiet song I probably should've left it out altogether, but I didn't want to go back over it again today, not now that I'm feeling a bit better in the head.
