Car crisis somewhat over. I forgot the standby for old cars... if they don't run quite right, throw a set of new spark plugs at it. Worked like a charm... biggrin

Went to PFD (http:www.punkfitnessdetroit.com) again last night. A great time... and good workout! Julie's been changing the Thursday night venue because of construction at the Berkley Front. (Yes..workout in a bar) So last week we...

It's over. The car honeymoon is over. I am officially annoyed with my new car. The brakes have a small leak in one of the rear calipers and it won't run right after trying to correct another problem.

Cheap Italian sports coupe for sale.....

mad mad mad mad mad

On the other hand... it still looks good. whatever

thanks for the compliment.

is that your lancia in the car album?
big_trouble:
that's crazy. i guess it lost spark when you messed w/ the timing?

there's a place on plymouth road between merriman and farmington roads in livonia that, i think, still services cars like that almost exclusively. i can't remember the name but i remember seeing a few europen rides in front. i should be back over that way come weeks end, i'll be sure to try and get the name.

It's not necessary . . . Thanks for the birthday wishes!

looks a little like one of the early gen. toyota celicas. that muffler shooting out the back is interesting, is that why it sounds sweet? it'll turn heads but i hope it doesn't prove to be a bitch should it break down and you need parts though.

OK. So I'm in the car for all of a couple minutes on a quick trip to get a few needed items when I completely blow a red light and t bone this guy. Fortunately no one was hurt. Can't say that for the cars, though. Mine's in the garage waiting for a verdict on it's health. Suffice it to say, the front end is...

For anyone that cares, I've returned. A feast for the prodigal son is certainly in order...

For anyone that could care less that I'm back, consider me still gone and may your Wheaties be soggy and germ ridden...

Aw, thanks! blush
And please, feel free to rant away. It's what I usually do in my journals. wink
I'm not really a war nut, but when it comes to WWII, I'm completely fascinated also.

My butt is sore. Not nearly as bad as I thought it would be, though...so that's good. 150 miles on a bike is about 110 more then I've ever done. 75 miles Saturday, 75 miles Sunday. Massages on both ends and plenty of eats to keep us nourished as we went.

Did I mention I really like massages? biggrin

I gotta keep streching or I'm going...

Question: Is there a song or a band that pegs your emotional meter in some way or another? ie. You cry without further provocation or curl into a ball of uncontrolable frutration, etc....

I have a number that do it for me. I was driving home listening to Neko Case and I started to cry. The other day it was Depeche Mode's "Get the Balance...

the cool thing is, i really didn't change the colors too much--maybe just made it a little bit more pink, but it was a beautiful sky that night! i could see fireworks going off on the horizon, from my screened porch, with the back side of Meijer's silhouetted in the foreground! hahaha
