Completly wasted the day. I'm not happy with myself about that. My responsiblity and my fault.
On a brighter note... My dad's employer held a retirement party for him at Kart2Kart, an indoor karting track in the area. That was cool. These aren't your run of the mill crappy little karts...these are fast! They have an automatic system for recording all you lap times which is also very cool. The old man and I were nose to tail the whole time and our average lap time was within .01 sec of each other. How cool is that? Like father, like son... Only thing better would have been if my two brothers were there. then there would have been 4 cars nose to tail. :-D

i can't seem to get the damn brackets from the old blinds off the wall though....i don't own a wrench tiny enough. that kind of shit really slows a project down, ya know?
so, i guess it's: wrench shopping, then paint the living room.

i can't imagine riding 35 miles--shit, i'm dead after going around the block! haha.....no, really, my body burns calories way too fast--i need to be eating a pizza while i'm pedaling! ha! i crack myself up!
bummer about the palm tree. sounds like a fun weekend though. i didn't start painting as i had planned. i ended up going out and about cuz my sunroof is really huge and i like to drive my car. i think i'm gonna get a wrench from my ex--how come he got all the good tools???
i don't know anyone looking for a roommate, sorry. there are always places available in this town, though. if you're interested in moving this way, just look in the sunday ann arbor news. what about ferndale or royal oak?
