i'm currently stocked on alcohol. i have rum and coke to last me for a few more weeks AND a bottle of Jager that's still unmolested.

tomorrow night is more drinking. trying to wash off the bad memories and pretty up the good ones. then saturday i skip out on my radio show with a viewership of minus one listeners to go off on another pilgrimage. the first i took was close, in Grand Prarie, Joan Jett & the Blackhearts. i came away with one of Joan's picks. it is always with me. the second pilgrimage i made to Houston. Guitar Wolf the day after they played two shows in one day at SXSW. i even went as far as to secure an interview. i sat, drank beer and had a cigarette with Billy, Seiji, and Toru. i left the show baptized in beer and anointed in seiji's sweat with one of Seiji's Rock;n;Roll Etiquette picks. two weeks later Billy died.

Saturday, i'll be in austin. Link Wray is playing. this time i'll be here to visit stevie ray too. last time i was around i diddn't have enough time to properly spend with him.

i will get one of Link's picks. with these three i will be awash in even more Rock'n'Roll energy.
