in my olfactory lexicon, rust and blood are next to each other. i've had my own blood on my hands more often than most people. not that i cut myself or any of that attention bullshit. i have some killer allergies and thin nasal capillaries. a bloody combination. in the right atmosphere one good sneeze will start a nosebleed that ranges from a trickle to drips with high frequency.

once i bled for half an hour. i skipped school that day.
