so I have found sollice in a new hobby that takes my mind off all my medical problems...

Knitting!!!

I was always put off learning this knifty skill becuase it looked so complicated but easter weekend Anthony's grandma took on the task of teaching me, and I caught on really quick, Since then I have become a knitting monster. Especially since being home with the mysterious headaches (which keep my from using the computer or watching tv for long periods of time, I love it though, it keeps my hand busy so I don't go crazy and I feel like im being creative again.

finished projects so far:

-two scarfs
(one is a brown and teal , and the other is an ode to neopolitan icecream- both are super long and cozy)
-a baby hat (yellow and white)
-a pair of baby booties (yellow)
and Im about to start a pair of yellow mittens to complete the set

I will put up pictures of all the projects as soon as I can!

the knitting has also stired up my long lost love of sewing,
Im working on a bunch of stuff for a friend's baby shower gift (that goes with the kittend hat, mittens and booties)
the gift basket is duck themed with hand made appliques of everything... the basket of goodies will include:
a baby blanket, a hooded towel and two faceclothes, a bib and a burp cloth.

I have also been making more sockey monkeys!!!!!!!

I have started my job search again, now that they seem to have the headaches alittle more manageable though medication. Im looking mostly in Hamilton, hoping to get out of brampton as soon as possible....

Im looking forward to school in the fall. Now that summer is here, even though im still dealing with my medical problems, I know that school and that new chapter in my life will be here before I know it and i can't wait!....

Im finally able to see past the trees to see the whole forest.......
