Oh im so annoyed....
Last night my friends and I had planned to go to what we thought was a very posh upscale club for my one friend's birthday... and we all payed up the arse to go and the entire night was bunk!
I mean the club was more in the dance scene but we thought we would try somthing new. NEVER AGAIN!
these are all the reasons why NO ONE should go to Mink in toronto:
1. Their limo service stinks, way overpriced, they make promises about extra pickups and then when the night comes they chane their minds. they switched limos while we were at the club and went though all our things we had put in the trunk to move it to the new one and they were late! coming to pick us up again.
2. they don't check or id anyone which in my opinion kinda defeats the purpuse of have 21 and over for the guys.
3. they claim to have such a strict dress code and then let half the club in who didn't follow the code
4. their covercharge and drink prices are ridiculously high.
5. their only seating area is VIP and you have to pay at least 400 dollars to sit there ( and even have payed all that money their service sucked and the vips had to go get drinks fromt the bar like verybody else)
6. the club is such a fire hazard. they let sooo many people in to the main floor room but wouldn't let anyone up to the second floor and the patio until like 12:45 in the morning(when they were suposed to start at 11:30) and even then they just let they're special VIPS up and so all the regular guestlist people had to push and wait in a ridiculous line for up to two hours to get in just to be told they weren't going to be getting in.
The one stairwell to get up to the bathrooms was being filled to compancy by people trying to get up to the patio that they banned people from coming up to the bathrooms! (thats just so wrong)
the stairwells were so full and the poeple at the club were so ignorant that they kept trying to push pass people to get up and down for whatever reasons, this behaviour led to my ankle being twisted halfway through the night when some jerk pushed passed me and my foot sliped off the edge of the stair as i fell into all the people behind me. (when i told one of the bouncers what had happened he just looked at me snotred and turned to talk at someone else)
7. After twisting my ankle i just really wanted to sit down (as i had another hours and a hlaf before our limo would be coming back)and decided to rest on the edge of one of the vip booths that were not being used and as fast as i could sit down one of their skanky waitresses rushed over to tell me i couldn't sit there. (just a few minutes later i see that same booth being used by girls (that i know were not VIPs) to give their boyfirends a lap dance( hmmm ... classy!) I eventually asked one of the vips from another booth if i could sit with him becuase i just couldn't stand anymore.
8. Their bar service was incredibly bad at one point we stood waiting for 20 minutes to be served at the 3 bartenders waited on a group of the bouncers! when she finially did take our order she screwed it up!
9. And as a topping to the loving evening was at the party called "sexy in the city", where i saw multiple people dry humping in the corners and one couple with a hand up the girl's dress, our friend danny who was by far one of the best dancer i saw all night (just a bit feminine in his movments) was told to leave because he was danceing "too sexy".
This was by far my worst experience with a night club ever!
I really think that the club should be shut down!
