So lately I have really become a fan of torrent sites, specifically for downloading movies. I know I know, the possibility of getting caught and going to jail and all that shit. Honestly though, I think its worth the risk considering how much movies cost now a days. 30 dollars for one fricken DVD, its a bit outlandish if you ask me. Its no wonder people are always using sites like Limewire (which I don't recommend, it gives you viruses and is overall bad for your computer) and are getting caught doing it. *Though they are the ones who download about 30,000 songs at a time*
I am such a big reader, that I finish a 400 page book in less then a day. I have a mini library going and I'm only twenty. With that being said, when Amazzon first came out with their Kindle, I (like most avid readers) was apposed at the thought of some small device taking over for our precious books... How pleasantly I was surprised.
Its sleek, and can fit into your purse for on the go uses. For someone who reads as much as I do, and ends up inevitably waiting around for people. Carrying books gets heavy and just annoying. This little device can hold up to 1500 books! The most amazing thing, The books are around, if not less then, $10 each and some are even free! So i must say, I'm in love. But keep in mind its not exactly cheap. It will run you about $250. But if you really think about it, now a days the average book cost's anywhere from $15 - 45. So It even's out over a year.and will save you a lot in the years to come.
If that's not the right one for you because it doesn't quite have all the formats you want, then the Sony Reader might be what your looking for!
It's touch screen navigation and multiple formats *that supports Adobe PDF3, Microsoft Word, BBeB, EPUB/ACS4. Its PC and Mac compatible5 and you can also play back unsecured MP3 and AAC audio files. Which personally is pretty awesome. It has adjustable font sizes, for easy reading, and a dictionary built right in. At a total of $400 plus tax, the sony reader seems like the logical buy.
Personally, I just love me some Amazon, with that being said., Even though the Reader is the most logical buy I have to say I am gonna go with the Kindle. I am a woman, an according to my bf, illogical so I can reasonable make that decision without being worried about a thing.
