Hey,

It's funny, but sometimes it's worthwhile believing in the little things, even if it's just a silly gesture that in reality can't and won't give back your little trees in your little garden in SF. I'm sure the location and the cultural differences between mine and your lives is so great you couldn't imagine - but the fact is there's more than one of you out there that thinks the same!

They didn't have any pear trees, but I'll try n remember to update you on the others, perhaps in the form of a 'tree blog'.

Wow that would be a coupla hundred years worth of slow conversation.
