Since my last entry:
I saw Janes Addiction, Beck, AFI, The Donnas, Hot Hot Heat and sat through a few other less illustrious bands at the BCN River Rave. Unfortunately, JA only played about five songs, but at least I got to see Perry Farrell shake it in a white leisure suit and spank Dave Navarros ass a few times. Beck rocked the house and did the robot ::swoon:: Hot Hot Heat was impressive, especially considering they were playing on a small stage in the corner of a damp parking lot. I didnt stick around for DKM because they werent going on until an hour and a half after Beck. It was freezing and I didnt feel the need to see them play in such a huge venue with such a shit audience. No one seemed too excited to see any of the bands. I think they were all waiting for Good Charlotte. Gosh darnn mall goths and MTV punks! No more big concerts for me. Perhaps I've been spoiled by smaller venues, but I just can't enjoy my self if I'm not close enough to reach out and touch the band.
My biopsy came back benign. No cancer for me!
One of my closest friends drove down from MA to help me put together my portfolio and we put together 23 books.
I had a final review of all of my work from the past two years. It went much better than I had expected. Maybe I just got lucky because I was one of the first people they reviewed. They told me to do more photography, which was like music to my ears.
On top of all this its finally sunny and Im done with school!
