It's funny you mentioned that about your art diploma, I was recently on an art course at night school just more of a get out of the house and interact with people affair rather than working towards a qualification and my tutor there who goes by Flameboy or Steve to his mates was saying how they don't really do anything around the basics of illustration at uni now they assume you know everything and it's very oriented towards digital art.
So when he's taught courses there or done talks he's had loads of students who are shit hot at digital art but don't know one end of a pencil from the other and the ones that do don't really understand anything about anatomy or lighting because you're just expected to already have all that down.
I am not so great at blogging recently. I think a huge chunk is my anxiety, but also my shyness in general is creeping up too. I went to an SGUK meet for the lovely Drew's birthday and I hardly spoke to anyone and I probably gave the impression I was stupid / dull and ignorant. In reality my stomach was in terrible knots.

After last weekends happenings I've had a much better week and this weekend was by all counts amazing. I was also lucky last weekend to stop off in Bristol on my way home and seeing the boy as well as other friends really perked me up - so thank you guys, as twitchy and fidgety as I was it did really help.
