missmorbus

mikes mom had to go to the hospital tonight. she fell on a side walk (you know where the tree roots push the sidewalk up, and it breaks into all those big jagged uneven chunks). we went to see her. she cut her head pretty bad and is gonna need stitches, and they think her wrist is broken. its all swollen and hurts really bad. hopefully its just a crack. they havent gotten any of the xrays or head scans back yet. his dad is gonna call us when they do. she will be ok, but i feel really bad for her. shes really upset, and i could tell she was in a lot of pain. she seemed really coherent, and she was talking and everything, so hopefully she doesnt have a concussion. i know she doesnt want to have to stay in the hospital overnight.

we havent seen the cat from yesterday at all today. hopefully he found his way home. there was another cat eating the catfood we left out for him when we got back from the hospital. but he didnt like us and ran like hell away. im gonna leave the cat food out for another day or so, just in case he comes back.

susan just told us that shes gonna have to have a pin put in her wrist, but its not bad, shes just gonna have to have day surgery. she will be home tomorrow. but her head is fine, except for the cut.
