I came in early (like at 4) to setup a bit for my 5pm start. It was Riverfire (stoopid event for fireworks... blah blah) so I wanted to setup all my plastics, alcohol & shit for the impending shitstorm that was bound to happen. We had a new girl doing the day shift so that would also set me back. I turn up & the manager has opened the whole of my upstairs area. Fine. The new girl hasn't been knocked off for her break. Fine. I knock her off & get someone to cover her while I setup. Fiiiiine. The person covering her pisses off & leaves me to look after the bar when I haven't even started yet. WTF???? I call to get someone to cover me, they don't come in for like half an hour. FOR FUCKS SAKE!! I finally kinda finish setting up & clock on. FUCK I'M ALREADY TIRED.

As the night progresses we get our asses handed to us & because I had no time, when we ran out of alcohol I had to get a manager to bring shit down. No time to stop. No time to even have a drink. The new girl was ok, kinda slow though & I warned her in advance that I was going to be a bitch due to stress. I just hate that the manager seems to think that things run like clockwork upstairs via magic - not fucking hard work! No thanks, no time, no fucking help. Yay, I really AM supervisor now. Next time I see Princess, I'm giving him an 'I'm sorry I didn't realise how much your job sucked' blowjob.
