Struggling to get myself together. Have been battling the outright flu for almost 2 weeks now. Started with the chest, moved to my stomach, and now is in my intestines. . I have had hypothermia and the other extreme of a high fever. I have lost 13 lbs and have managed to stay awake 80% of the time due to how uncomfortable I am.
In this time, my boyfriend took amazing care of me and then had to leave me to go on work in Cleveland. Waking up alone and sick kind of put it in perspective as to how much we are taking each other for granted. For so long, or so it seemed, we travelled thousands of miles to be with each other, and now we have each other under the same roof.
It's hard. But I can not imagine a world without him.
