I keep thinking it's all a joke, it's just a nightmare. Pinch me already. But it hurts, it hurts bad. No one should bury their 22 year old son, a 3 year old shouldn't have to understand why daddy won't be there for his birthday. A bull headed best friend shouldn't be forced to tears at the news. The world is sad today.
Cole, you are my brother, my friend, my family, and don't tell, but you were my favorite. You're my partner in crime every year at cruisefest. Who am I supposed to yell at whores with this year? Why does God decide to take us so young? Why would he rip you from this earth and punish those around you? I can hear your voice, I can see you're big smile. My last memory of you will be a good one.
You're in heaven with Lee, baby. You're with Chris and Zack and everyone else we've lost along the way.
We mourn for your loss but know you are in a better place. You have no more worries.
