First of all I would like to apologise for my disappearance!! My account was temporarily deactivated... but I'm here again! Hooray.
I am a little bit disappointed because I have been trying for a very long time to upload a new set and it just doesn't seem to be happening for me! I tried a few months back and eventually gave up because I kept trying and trying and I got sick of the photos hehe. I have a brand spanking new set too that I actually really like so hopefully I can get this sorted soon! I think there is a huge difference between this set and the first one I submitted, I have learnt a lot in the last year or so.
We won our roller derby bout, very exciting stuff, new season starts in September, can't wait. I have such a big passion for this sport I wish I had the time to commit to it even more.
I am also on the cover of the July issue of NZX magazine... which is NZ's version of Penthouse or Playboy. I found this out today and I think it is super exciting but at the same time I am really afraid people I don't want to see it are going to find it! I have this scenario running through my head of my mother lining up at the petrol station ready to pay and sitting there on the magazine stand is me... She'd completely nut out. I did the shoot a couple of months ago and thought id just be a small feature, little did I know... Here's a few PG13 samples anyway.
It is great news but also terrifying.
I am really proud of what I am achieving but hate the fact that I can tell a lot of people about it because of the way they judge me. So frustrating. I also constantly get told my career path is a fail, I have a terrible taste in men and some of the things I'm into are "wrong". I don't believe any of it but if I keep living the way I do I will have to keep hearing about it!
After I did Skinfarm (with the puppetry and live scarification) EVERYONE knew about it, it circled my family which was the worst because a lot of them now believe I'm a "Satanist" and I'm addicted to drugs, because that is apparently the only logical explanation.
ARE YOU KIDDING ME???
My parents don't believe this but they have had a lot of grief from other family members and keep asking me not to get involved with anything like that anymore. Which really sucks because I am doing a suspension next month. I decided not to tell them (to keep their mind at peace) but chances are everyone is going to find out anyway as nothing is a secret anymore once it's on the internet, that's how they found out about the last one.
I don't really care what people think I just get really tired of hearing about it!!!
If anyone out there has any helpful words I am all ears. Do any of you other SG or hopefuls get gried about what you do? Whether it be the pictures you have of yourself or anything else? Would be nice to know I'm not the only one getting my cover blown every 5mins,
