Yesterday,
Lack of communication is a horrible thing, 2nd shift knew the boiler was going and failed to tell me. All I got at the change of shift was "just read the book see you later!" and that was it. The water heater broke and I no idea until maybe 0530 when EVERYONE called to complain. The owner Jason happened to show up about 6 am and I told him I was happy to see him because we have no hot water... He flipped out on me. It stung, after having guests personally scream at me for no doing my job he just went in for the kill. He opted to stay in the back office while I handled the events at the desk. It fucking sucked.
What's worse is he was laughing and joking around with the housekeeping staff and yet was unable to treat me like a human being. It happens, it's business I get it. I expected just more from him, after all the shit I do for this hotel. My answers weren't enough, instead of throwing people under the bus or making up excuses I stated facts. He failed to realize I've been telling people about this issues since LAST weekend. I made it to my car and I bawled my eyes, I think more because I needed the release of built up emotion. I won't take this personally.

I want to go to this

Seriously. Noah Levine has greatly influenced me and I told myself if he ever goes to the east coast I'm there. I must see about making this happen.
