I'm home by myself now for the next 30 days. I dropped him at the airport and I started getting emotional when we said goodbye. I finished my mom's curtains for the three huge windows upstairs and now I have two more smaller panels to sew for my patio door down here. I don't think the interview went so great... but maybe my selfloathing is due to PMS and just wanting this job so much I was bummed to hear "we'll call you tuesday or wednesday to let you know." The District manager asked alot of personal questions to the point I got a little freaked out.

Everywhere I've ever interviewed here, they've been really nosy about my reasons for being here. It makes me really uncomfortable but I think they have been burned by a lot of people just passing through. I still think it's inappropriate.

You should call and ask Hot Topic what's going on. I had to call FedEx again today and now it looks like they will be giving me a formal offer and having me start on the 11th! I had my final interview on the 17th of this month.

We actually did find one house right across from Kalama Park that I kind of liked. The kitchen was too small and the yard was almost all dirt so we'd have to put down a gravel driveway and grass but it would do.
However, miraculously, my mother's boyfriend is finally talking and treating us like human beings. I don't really care if he's just faking it. We've all agreed to try and start over. We'll see how it goes. I can't come up with a deposit for a place by myself anyway, so I have to wait until I start bringing in income from my job.
Maybe things will stay smooth for six months or so and allow us to build up a cushion of savings. I just hope I finally hear from FedEx today that I'm officially an employee. I've been doing so much paperwork and waiting so long, it's driving me crazy.
Anyway, call me today if you want some company at the beach.

I have no idea right now. I actually love this house and would prefer if we didn't have to move my son to a new school in the middle of the year so if I can get my mom and her boyfriend and his grandson to move out to their own place, I might stay here. The rent isn't that much more than most 2 bedrooms I've looked at anyway. Plus, my mom doesn't like the wind or the warmth or living near the cane field. She'd rather live in Makawao so hopefully they can GTFO.
