That last show I worked in the city, just turned into another this coming weekend. I was worried about how I would pay my bills this summer but I think I'm going to be ok. The rest of this month might be really tight, and I'll probably go a little hungry, but July will be good, and August will be all right, come September when the season picks back up, I might just be busier then I can handle. It feels good knowing that it took me so little effort, and so little time to find a job that pays better than the one that has been abusing me these past six months. Maybe if I'm lucky I'll get that moment of victory where I can say... "Oh I'm sorry you don't have anyone else here that can do what I can do, but I've already taken a better paying gig for that weekend... and that weekend... Oh and those days in between too!"
