I currently work for idiots.

I decided since I was leaving in 2 weeks I didn't want to work tonight so I totally did not even call in or anything. For once I was going to do a no call. I am totally against them but for ONE TIME IN MY LIFE I wanted to do one and not care what management says.

So, about 45 minutes after my start time I get a text from someone I work with asking where I am. I'm like huh? I made up this elaborate story about how I had taken all of these cold pills and was knocked out and blah blah. Then she tells the managers and they tell me to call them. Man, I have to listen to a lecture. I am done in less than 2 weeks. Do you think I care??

So, then the only manager I like asks me if I want to just finish out the week and not worry about next week. I'm like uh, yeah!! So, now I only have 2 days left there. That's it. I am going to miss some of the people I work with but I am so happy to be getting out of there.

UPDATE

I don't have to work anymore!!!! So, now I am off til I fly out on the 15th. But I don't have much cash. So, I think I am going to be roughing it for a few weeks. I'd rather rough it than work at that hell hole.
