Ok ok ok, I really need to update. Tafe's been finished for almost two weeks now and I've spent most of those two weeks guiltily looking at Mr Space Bunny every time I come to SG and trying to motivate myself to type out the things that've been happening. In all honestly I'm still not very motivated so I will resort to photos and bullet points instead of well constructed prose, which I'm pretty lame at anyway.

- So the reason Space Bunny made an appearance was this slightly ridiculous dress -

It was my final project for Tafe this year, based on NY club kids of the eighties and sea slugs of all things.


- I got a job! Hurray for disposable income! Hurray for income in general! I've been surviving on my swiftly depleting savings account and the kindness of my girlfriend for the last six months. As of Wednesday I will be the joyful employee of The Rosemount Hotel. Cue my name on the door for gigs I'm not working and the possibility of meeting the bands. All that and they pay me? I hope it's as good as it seems.


- We had another annual SG picnic. It was slightly more subdued than the last one but it was nice to see everyone, even if Rob was "sick". Admit it dude, you were totally at home playing WOW weren't you?

- My dear friend Kath is in town on her way home from vacationing in Europe. It's been pretty lovely to see her, but I've realised just how lame I am at keeping up with my friends this year. It's shameful. Anyway, we went out and had Yum Cha. I adore patting steamed custard buns. They're so fluffy and awesome.

- Um...um there must be something else I've done. I bought a stupidly large ring. It brings me great joy.

So that's it. I hope you all have a merry little Christmas, do you have any big plans? Anything you want in particular? I will be spending the day with my family and family friends; eating drinking and hopefully receiving large wads of cash so I can go traveling at the end of next year. Fingers crossed.
